Located in charming Hopland on Hwy 101, The Golden Pig Wine Shop is the perfect place to start your Mendocino getaway. We're open 7 days a week, so you can sample the best of Mendocino County with 6 different wines on our rotating tasting and wine by the glass menu. Feel free to browse through over 100 different wines from small producers and then enjoy a glass of your favorite wine, cider or craft beer on our beautiful garden patio.

Garnet black color. Fruity aromas and flavors of plum and berry pie, dark caramel, and vanilla cream puff pastry with a supple, bright, fruity medium-to-full body and a warming, refreshing, medium-long finish with suggestions of fresh mixed berries, nut skin, wood, and black radish with light oak flavor. A rock solid Merlot that will cover a lot of bases.

...highlighting the best flavors that Mendocino County has to offer...this rosé is just that; a delicious celebration of grapes meticulously grown in healthy soil and artfully blended for your enjoyment.
Carefully fermented and aged in stainless steel and used barrique barrels on full yeast until February 2022 without any fining or other technical measures.
UCAIA is a Italian Super Tuscan Blend of Cabernet and Sangiovese from the historic Heart Arrow Ranch. Located in Redwood Valley within the Eagle Peak AVA. Similar to 'Sassicaia', the Golden's UCAIA remains one of Mendocino County's Finest Blends since they started producing it in 2006. This bottle is truly special & demands respect from it's robust & charming qualities.
Pale with wine-like aromas of orange citrus, rhubarb, and tarragon. A pleasant minerality and notes of lime, citrus, and red apple are carried by residual sugar. The sugar does the work of maintaining flavor, but is offset by a cleansing acidity for balance. It ends with a crisp, off-dry, and semi-long finish.
